PETER SHANNON

Peter is an investor focused on advanced aerial mobility and its application toward positive impact for transportation across the economy. In this capacity, he is active in the aviation community around regulatory and technology issues critical to enabling high-scale adoption of aerial mobility systems.
Peter co-authored a national strategy for Advanced Aerial Mobility as a member of the Committee on Urban Air Mobility Research and Technology through the Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board of the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine. He is a standing member of the Transportation Research Board’s New Users of Shared Airspace Committee. He is also an appointee to NASA’s Aeronautics Research and Technology Roundtable and is involved in the FAA’s Unmanned Aerial System Integration Pilot Program.
Earlier, Peter was at Firelake Capital and Atlas Venture, investing in transportation and sustainability technologies.
Peter holds an MBA, with High Honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Systems Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Virginia.
Peter started flying when he was 19 and actively maintains a Private Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating.
LUKA TOMLJENOVIC

Luka started his career as a fighter pilot, flying MiGs for the Croatian Air Force. For almost a decade, this experience offered first-hand operational exposure to advanced technologies and systems involved in complex aerial operations. Among other roles, Luka was the Weapons and Tactics Officer, a coveted position in which he spearheaded air-to-air tactics innovation.
Transitioning out of the military, Luka started building a career in finance, corporate development, and venture capital. A four-year detour from aviation included a variety of finance, investment, and operational roles at an automotive Tier-1 supplier, including product line experience.
Prior to joining Radius Capital, Luka was a Partner at Airbus Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund backed by Airbus, where he led investments in technologies shaping the future of aerospace.
Luka is an active speaker and thought leader, advises startups on business and product strategy, and serves as mentor to accelerators.
He is an aeronautical engineering graduate from the United States Air Force Academy, where he was a distinguished graduate, squadron commander, and glider aerobatic team captain. Luka also holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Luka is a classical guitarist, enjoys reading and experiencing the outdoors with his wife and dog.
